Shakespeare’s Theater Loses to School-as-Airport

The Stirling Prize in Architecture has been announced.  A new Shakespeare theater was among the finalists, but the Evelyn Grace Academy in south London took the Royal Institute’s prize.  You can decide whether you think the Academy resembles an airport more than a school.

  1. I can almost hear those areoplanes…yes it looks a little heavy handed for a school and although its the most obviously ‘modern’ looking I’m sure in a hundred years time it will be the Shakespeare Theater that still looks elegant…
