You Don’t Know Him as a Translator of Icelandic Sagas

The economic and social changes over the past few years might make it an opportune moment for a William Morris revival.  His numerous talents qualify him as what some contemporary people would label a multi-tasker, though we would have to mean that in a good way.  Morris also had high expectations of others on that front.

If a chap can’t compose an epic poem while he’s weaving tapestry … he had better shut up, he’ll never do any good at all.
